Hello all;
Can anyone identify this engine number from a small block chevy rear casting? "3956643"
I don"t have any other information right now.
Checked Lime Book / Pontaic etc. but no luck so far.

from this list I believe you read the casting number wrong. which can be easy to do as sometimes the casting number is not real clear
