It does go to show how the bottom dropped out (at the time) of the C1s and C2s at the 'newness' of the 68 and 69 C3s. I recall similar happening to my 1980 when the C4s were 'all the roar' when they were out (my 1980 was my 1st Vette). No One wanted the C3s any more. I bought my 80 at that low point. The tables have turned on that one for sure. Funny how some models did not fair well the test of time. Wonder how we will view the C8s after the next gen or 2 of vettes ? When 1st saw the C8s I thought I might consider trading one of my very nice C1s or C2 and some cash for a C8. In retrospect... no way Id do that now.
