Default Tail Lights

I want to change to LED rear lights. Does anyone know of any videos of the job?

They make "plug and play" LED tail lights for C1s .... pretty easy to install

I was a Guinea pig for these lights...absolutely love the final result. You may want to read through the entire thread. The final post has a link to the website.

I used both the infused LED lenses and also LED bulbs. The original brake lights are now LED infused lenses and I added a red LED bulb to the backup lights with a jumper from the brake light switch to the backup light connector at the fire wall. I now have 4 brake lights but still appears to be stock 66 with backup lights.
Much brighter and safer.

Default I Prefer the Bulb Type

After much research I settled on the replacement bulb LEDs. They have come a long way and effectively render the multi LED replacement lenses obsolete. They are brighter and easier to install, same as replacing a bulb. As with any LEDs you will either need a parallel resistor or a powered solid-state flasher for the turn signals to work correctly.

Hear a link the post on my front/rear LED setup.

If you just change the REAR lights to LED, and leave the fronts incandescent, you won't have the flasher problem.
