The VIN decodes as a 1967 Corvette convertible built on May 1, 1967
The Engine casting is probably 3903352 not 3503352 and, then, would be 1967 Chevy 327, 2 bolt main
I'm pretty sure that 3903552 block was not ever used in a 1967 Corvette. Typically, 3892657 is what you see in a '67 small block Corvette.
Mershon's has been around a long time. Take a C2 pro with you or have it inspected before you make the trip.
Thanks for the information. You are correct about the engine casting number. It is 3903352. I did find out the car is a color change.
Before I found out it was a color change, I thought the price was very optimistic. Now I'm not sure how much less the car is worth
not being the original color. I'm looking for a good driver not NCRS Bloomington but I don't want to overpay for it either.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks, Bud

And, certainly, not the original engine. What's the asking price??
Looking at the other C2's they have on their website they are almost all on the high price side, but that is typical of dealer cars. The clever language in the ad descriptions is quite interesting to read. I wonder if they have ever been taken to court for misrepresenting a car before.

do your homework and that answer will appear in spades.
I decided not to buy it. I really want an original car. His price was way out of line when I did a search with Haggerty, Hemmings, NADA, BaT. They asked what I would be willing to spenp, I told them 65K
They said they would go to 87K. Thanks for everyones help.
The search continues.

so their asking price was 79.9K and they were willing to go to 87K?
Pancho lives near Mershon's. The best money you will ever spend would be to enlist him to perform an eval on this car.
Absolutely! I couldn't agree more.

Pancho did do the inspection for Greg. FYI I have spoken to the people from Mershon's at Carlisle as you would expect they are more than happy to cooperate with Pancho when he does a pre purchase inspection. So while they are a dealer and as you would expect they are looking to make a profit if the have something you have to have and can deal with the price Pancho is your safety net.
Sorry, they were asking $79,900 and would come down to $78,500. I did pass on that one. I found the perfect one. The red exterior only comes with 2 choices for interior colors red or black.
I had a 50/50 shot at the right one. The wife wanted a red interior, the car had a black. The search continues.
