Heat Riser
Is the heat riser exterior supposed to be manifold grey in color or bare metal? How about the "hammer" that attaches to the spring mechanism? I assume the actual springs and mechanism are just bare metal?

It was natural cast iron like the exhaust manifolds. I paint them just like the manifolds so everything looks the same
