Door mirror placement

Can anyone give me a measurement of the drivers door short base mirror on a 66. My door had a long base on it.

Steve ,I'll measure mine tommorow. I'ts a 66 and I imagine it's a short base.

Mine is a short base. It's 12 and7/8 inches straight back from where the door meets the ridge on the fender , and 2and 1/2 inches down from the stainless trim at the window to the top center of the base, if you need any more measurements let me know . Good Luck , Bruce
