Default Odometer inop

Has anyone had any experience repairing the odometer and trip miles? Speedometer works, just not those.
Also, I need to remove the clock for repair. Any suggestions there?
Sorry to sound so stupid. I sold my C1 and I was an ace with it. The C2 is a learning process.
Thanks, Bud

Bud, It looks to me like a cluster removal and gear replacement, cleanup and re-installation. My speedometer worked fine, mileage and Odometer indicators did not work.....

The Clock: Remove the right side radio panel then release the 2 clips behind the clock........I sent my 65 out for a quartz movement (Disconnected Battery). Other's will assist!

that's not a job you want to repeat in a few months. I would take the cluster a known rebuilder and have them go though it and have the speedo and tach calibrated after the speedo rebuild. you can possibly swap out the worn gears but murphy's law says something else will not work after you put the cluster back in

What's involved in a cluster removal?

plenty of old threads on cluster removal. most remove the column driver side seat, remove the two bolts on the fuse block to allow the harness to move along with all the obvious removal of the tach and speedo cable, and all the wires on the back. its not a fun job at all.

From what I've seen, take the cluster removal of any similar vintage GM product, multiply that by two, and add a dash of extra PITA lol

I want to take mine out just to clean behind the lens faces
