My generator stopped outputting, so I went and bought the Vintage Alternator from Corvette Central. After getting a new pulley (old one was bent) and what I though was the problem, which was the alternator/generator bracket, the new setup sits too far back from the tensioner bracket and the belt. I have looked in the judging manual and the service manual and cannot find a clear picture of how it should be. So, my question is, what part/s am I missing so that the alternator/generator lines up with the belt and tension brackets? Does anyone have pictures of their 59 generator bracket setup?
Side note, the failed generator that was on the car was not original and had a homemade bracket that held it on (was very crude).

It looks like you are trying to use a cheap Chinese left side bracket made for headers on the right side of the engine, turned backward no less, so of course everything sits too far back. You need a right side mount Header Power Bracket.
