I recently installed the kit from SST in my 63, everything you need is in their kit. Took a 400 mile round trip yesterday, all interstate. Clicking along at 70MPH and Two Grand on the Tach is sweet.

I like the 5 speed option, it can be installed so it looks stock so you get the best of the old look and the new performance. I don't think a 5 speed conversion will ever break even financially, it is all about enjoying the car while you drive.
