Does anyone know of a way to convert a 1963 Tach to electronic or of a vendor that can do that? All of the aftermarket kits appear to exclude 63 and 54 models and the vendors that use to do that are no longer around (Wilcox). Just switched to HEI as my old mechanical drive distributor gave up the ghost. Would prefer not to go back to a mechanical distributor as she runs much better with HEI. Thanks
As stated above, it isn't easy for a number of reasons
Nevertheless, I wanted the freedom to choose whatever distributer I wanted,
was also converting a number of my gauges to electronic, and wanted to retain the stock look.
The first vendor that attempted this failed. It just didn't work right.
However, Roger at Corvette Instrument Service pulled it off
