Does anyone make a correct reproduction set of brake hoses for a 63? All of the ones I see listed seem to be a much smaller hose than original and the ends look different than the original ones that were on my car..

You MAY be able to procure some NOS brake hoses with the original style crimped ends but I wouldn't want to use them. If you're concerned about NCRS judging, they no longer judge the crimped ends of the brake hoses. Simply go online to NAPA and order some Gates or Goodyear hoses applicable for your '63.

Leif when did they start to that? I assume they will look for non typical markings on the hose like the DOT markings?
My original ones are in great condition with no bulging or cracking. I was going to use them as I thought they were judged for originality. I don't know now. They are visibly different from all current lines but they are 60 years old and might not be safe even though they appear great.

Can you post a picture of yours of both ends??
originals have a curved and crimped at the end. There is no crimp rings on the middle section as replacement ones

You couldn't pay me enough to use and depend on 60 year old brake hoses. Screw the points. Install modern, freshly manufactured brake hoses.
