I picked up a windshield for my 63 impala from them. The lof logo looks original, and their pricing is reasonable. The windshield was very well packaged.I believe they had it in to me in less than 3 weeks. They can supply you with the gasket,I am not sure about the clips.
I got one from Auto City for my 67 Vert that will hopefully go in by the end of this year. it seemed to match up well with the old one, but I did not pony up for the date code. I also bought a driver side window from them, but the dimensions were way off. 1/2" too narrow & 1/4" shorter. Even the corners were shaped different. It was the correct part # on their label & they couldn't tell me what went wrong. Perhaps it was mislabeled??? Sent it back & got a used one that I am currently sanding/polishing to get scratches & the etching out. BTW I do not recommend this to anyone. It is a ton of time & patience....

Auto City is where to get your glass.
Corvette Rubber is where to get your gasket.
Clean and re-use the clips if at all possible...most of the repro clips will give you fitment issues.
I just bought a windshield from Auto City, dated with correct LOF for my 67 conv. They had it dated and shipped to me in less than 2 weeks. Difference from original will be the angle of the shading at the outer corners and the color and placement on the right side of the AS1 rating. We haven't installed it yet but my installer prefers the NOS GM w/stripping. They are still out there but run about $300 vs repos of $75. Pilkington made the most correct repo but sadly, they are out of the classic car ws business. I think they made them in Mexico. That one passed judging even at the National Convention.

Thanks for the info. Looks like Auto City Glass is the only source for replacement windshields these days.
I asked a long time poster on the NCRS board about the gasket. He advised against buying an NOS gasket because it likely has aged and would not be flexible enough, etc. He advised to go with the Corvette Rubber one. Just his 3 cents (with inflation).
ECS automotive concepts is licensed by gm to etch glass also.I bought a windshield from them a few years ago for my Gto.They are showing 64-76 available,so if you are looking for a 63 you might have a problem getting one that they can etch.

Hi RIck,
Thanks for the lead about ECS.
I checked their website and their price for a dated windshield is $110 more than Auto City Glass:
Here's the Auto City Glass web listing for a date coded windshield:
It would be nice to know what the differences are between the ECS and Auto City Glass windshields. Do the windshields all come from the same factory?
The ECS website doesn't allow direct purchases to be made. So I can't compare shipping costs between vendors. I'll have to phone them to learn more.
I picked up my windshield last spring for my 69 from Auto City Classics. I live about 75 miles from them so I drove up to get it. I spent some time talking with them and got a tour of their facilities and can tell you that it is a first rate operation. They have been in this business for decades and are a thriving business today. Buy with confidence! (This is NOT a paid solicitation).
I believe there is only one factory manufacturing these. Most of the windshields come with that company’s logo in the corner, the ones they can etch are blank. They can’t etch a logo over another logo.
I agree 100% about auto city. They have my business.Mike was awesome to deal with.I just threw out ECS as an alternative.
