I have a 67 Corvette and the numbers on the rear end are CD 214 63
Very confused on what it means?
Help is appreciated.

CD denotes a 3.70 positraction gear ratio. 2 14 63 is the assembly date of the rear end...February 14,1963.

Yes.

There were many different options in 67 based on engine, HP, suspension, etc. You need to list all the options on the car to determine what could be the potential correct differential.

the 63-64 rears are weakest of them all with little to no parts in service to repair them. the 65-69 are not much better
