If you have a bellhousing use it, as the price for new scatter shields is through the roof. I suggested Quicktime because when I bought my Tremec it is what they suggested. Not having a stock flywheel that is the direction I went, but my how prices have skyrocketed!
Does someone close to Okla City need/want a Lakewood housing, with block plate, CHEAP? I AIN'T interested in shipping it.
It was on the T-bucket that my son destroyed. It is undamaged and in perfect shape.
I do not foresee ever building a car that needs a scatter shield. At my age, I have too much crap that I will never use, and just need to get rid of.

There is also one in Council Bluffs, IA if someone needs it. I was planning on using it, but it was out of parallel for my Tremec & did not feel like messing with it.
I have a BP 383 + Tremec 600 with 2.87 first gear with .064 O'D and absolutely love this combo. I used American Powertrain for the tranmission fitted to center in our original shifter location with a Hurst short throw shifter. My BP 383 came without an intake or carb because I wanted a polished Hi Rise Dual Plane so I installed a Weiand Street Warrior with Holley 750 DP. This BP 383 is tight as a drum, never leaked and runs awesome ! Unfortunately, last season my rear had some issues with the posi and had to be rebuilt. Given I had the Tremec ,I upgraded the gears to 4.11 and now love this combo even more (:->) !
