Oil filter
I converted my 327 over to a spin on filter.went to spin oil pump and oil came out around the filter.what a mess to clean up.it’s a k-n filter.has anyone converted to a spin on filter.I want to stay with k-n .

There are two styles of adapters. One has the gasket mating surface around the outside of the adapter for the 70s style GM filter and the other has the gasket surface in about 1/2" and uses the ford style filter. If you use the wrong filter, both will leak.
Filter manufacturers make filters for both.
A picture of the filter top and the adapter surface would help.
