Loose Hubcaps - Simple Fix for Wheels with No Nubs
What do you do if you own wheels with no nubs but with push-on/snap-on hubcaps? Are you worried every time you take out your car that you might hear the sound of a hubcap rolling down the road behind you? Hopefully, if it happens, you do hear it.
Your options include:
Sand the area where you will be applying the putty mixture. You basically mix the putty with your fingers. You use a small amount to build up a small "bump" on the edge of the inner rim of your wheel. Wait 24 hours. Jam on your hubcap.
Your options include:
- Buy new wheels with nubs
- Weld on nubs
- Silicone layer
- Build up paint

I just bought new rims for my C2 and they didn't come with nubs. The right front passenger hubcap has fallen off twice now, thankfully both times was in my neighborhood. Thank you for posting this.
