Hi, thank you very much for your reply. Yes, it’s for my 63. Specifically needing the clock plug and about one foot of the wiring down from the plug. I truly appreciate you reaching out!!!! Thank you, Mike
You are welcome. My intension was to get more specific info for what you need.
More info usually gets better responses. I don't have what you need , but maybe someone else does.
Are your harnesses original to your car ? If they are , I would recommend you consider replacing them as they are 60 years old .
They were not designed for that amount of time.
If all goes well, I'll be swapping out my original '63 dash harness this weekend. Hit me up on Monday and I'll let you know.
Hey Cagejun22 - Thank you much!! I really only need the clock connector plug and about 12” of the clock connector wiring. I installed a new dashharness, but for some reason the clock connector is dead. Appreciate your response!!! 👍 Mike

Hi Tom - Thank you for your insight. The weird thing is that this dash harness is new from Lectric Limited, and my clock has never worked. Thinking it was my clock, I’ve sent it twice to California to have redone and each time they send it back, they report it’s running perfectly. It makes me think it’s a bad plug. When I run the clock from leads from a 12v battery, the clock performs. If it a problem with the harness is somewhere further up towards the dash, I think I will need to just find another full time power and ground from somewhere else under the dash. I am am just a novice at this. If you were me, where would be the best/easiest place be to tie in? Thank you much for your help!!!
I have little experience with electric and wiring issues. Having said that I would do a through troubleshoot of the connector and associated wiring to try to locate the fault in that circuit .
Also check the ground. You could rig a temp. jumper from the Z bar for it .

Wondering if you had info on the clock repair business? Do they repair 59's also? What did they charge you? Thanks Dennis
Hi Tom - I sent mine to a highly recommended firm; Corvette Specialties of of Maryland West. I also heard Joe Ray may do them as well. I’ll check my NCRS magazine and see who else, and let you know. 👍👍👍
D & M Restorations also does a very good job.

djsvette asked about restoration venders for his clock , not me. Mine works just fine.
I know on my 63 clock that after the car is started , I hav e to reset the time because I use a cutoff switch. When that is done it start's the clock. That mechanism in the clock needs to be restarted a few times and then it keeps the correct time until I use the cutoff again .
After testing the harness plug, I found it had both power and ground. I saw that the ground connector blade on the harness was not centered, and that my clock blade was sliding under it without making contact, I bent the harness ground down to center it, and voila……
Again, a very special Thank you to everyone who helped me in this journey!!! God Speed!
