I recently installed a baffled grommet for the pcv valve in my 350 that is in my 57. This grommet fits between push rods, but I believe it is tucked under the rocker arms when valve cover is installed. Car runs fine, pcv valve fits nicely into grommet. Should I be concerned about any contact or wear issues with this setup? i wouldn’t think it would be an issue, as baffle is rubber. I have attached pictures to better show install.
Thank you, R66. I was using the pcv valve without any baffle in the same location for quite a while, but I was getting an oily mist in my air cleaner and carb. Surprisingly, I didn’t notice any appreciable oil usage. Hopefully this will clean that up. Thanks for responding.
