Default Updated '63 winter project

Hood had 100's of sun reflected blisters so after a weeks worth of sanding and cleanup looks presentible now. Also many hours of engine detailing with satisfactory results. begee22

Your car looks fantastic. Could you elaborate a bit about the "100's of sun reflected blisters" and the process of sanding them out. I'm guessing that you accomplished this without having to do any re-painting ?
Thanks

Sanitary!! May I ask what products you use to clean and detail the engine compartment? Very nicely done, sir.

Previous owner never covered air cleaner lid with hood up resulting in sun reflected blisters.Hand sanded complete underside using various sandpaper grits, re-painted with Krylon semi-flat black, finished with new rubber firewall seal. begee22

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking you were talking about the top of the hood. Car looks great.

Great work, Bruce.

The sun wreaks havoc on the ‘63 hoods inside and out!
