Default Flush Mounted Valve Stems

The 64 I acquired last fall has flush mounted tire valve stems. However the valve stem adapter the PO furnished to too large. The one he furnished is an Allstar unit, I contacted Allstar and they do not have any suggestion. In the pictures the Allstar stem is on the left and the plug from my wheel is on the right. You an see the threads are about half the diameter of the Allstar one. Other picture is the flush stem in the wheel.

Anyone know of a stem with a smaller thread?

I didn't know those existed. Kinda looks like your wheels took a dip in a cold pool....

Perhaps this will work? https://www.sfxperformance.com/parts/BBS0915081.htm

Thanks, I'll see if they can give me the dimensions of the threads.
Yes, my wheels need a good cleaning and polishing but I just had my second knee replacement this winter and it's difficult to bend over that much.

Harold, does the plug screw into the same threads as the valve core? How does the valve stem seal to the wheel?

The plug screws into the same place as the valve stem. In the picture of the wheel the plug from the right side of the first picture is screwed into the valve. The stem I need would be like the one on the left but with threads like the plug on the right.
I called SFX Performance and they said the stem that Duck916 sent a link to only fits BBSII wheels on Jaguars and the valve can only be installed by BBS dealers. Their picture looks to have longer threads also.

Might be less hassle to just buy a new set. A few years ago I was modifying a set of Camaro 17" rims so that I could fit 15" C1 hubcaps and I used a set of these from Summit Racing. About $20 and they might fit more flush that the ones you have.

I'm afraid that's where I'll end up, didn't want to de-mount tires if I didn't have to. I may just get a set of shorty stems if I do that.

You may not have to completely de-mount the tires. Try unseating the tire only on the side that has the valve. You may then be able to hold the tire out of the way enough to change the valve.
