C5 seats with C2 crossed flags. I like it. How did you mount them?

Just don’t put C5 seats in a C2 convertible. They look really out of place with the seat above the beltline. Not as bad in a cp.

I’m 6’4” and need all the headroom I can get.. I removed the tracks and height adjusters and bolted the seats directly to the floor as far back as possible.

I removed all of this to lower the seat about 2 1/2”.

Here is the seat track and adjuster.

Here is the height adjuster I also removed.

I retained the bolster and lumbar adjustments.

I have a TKO 600 and I also moved the shift lever to the other side for another inch of room on the side.

Much better!

More room all around. Note that my feet are on the floor, not on the pedals. When driving I don’t have any steering wheel clearance issues.

Nope. I’m the only one who drives it and I have built it for me.

Now that looks sweet. Could you be more specific on year and model of the BMW car ?

These are nice and would even be better with no headrests

BMW 320 and some others circa '80-83. Also called Recaro LS seats, if you were to get them new.
