I picked up a box assortment of various oily ignition shielding pieces at Carlisle last weekend. There was one price for a lot of pieces, so I splurged.
Some of the pieces I was able to ID, but some I could not. My "new-to-me" 66 is missing a lot of its shielding, so I'm looking around at swap meets.
Here are 2 chrome pieces that don't look like the shielding illustration pictures I see in the 66 assy. manual. What are these for? Different year?
The one on the right with the hole in it is a 69-70 left (driver's side) front. The one on the left is a little tougher. It's a left rear but it could be either a 66-67 or a 68-72. Because it's with a 69-70 left front I assume it's a 68-72, but the 66-67 and 68-72 are so similar I find it hard to tell them apart.
