leaky Carb
So I did the easy fix, removed front and rear bowls, cleaned, and made sure the floats were free. Leak continues, so I would like to rebui;d this carburetor, only I am not sure what it is. Any help is appreciated.

Where is it leaking from? You have a correct 67 SB 49 state carb but made in 1976 or 1986. It's a Holley 4160. You need to check to make sure all mounting areas are flat and true.

Leaking from the vent indicates a bad float or bad needle not shutting off the gas. Leaks at the bottom of the bowl could be warped bowl or just loose screws - hope you torqued them correctly. Also leak at the bottom could be accelerator pump. Have you gone to the Holley website for the videos?

I wouldn't recommend a rebuild until I have done some troubleshooting with all of the information.

Any fuel sitting in the bottom of the intake after you pulled it? Or do you smell fuel when you approach the car after an overnight? If so.....if it's leaking or dripping down to intake plenum overnight I'd change the oil with the carb repair/swap.

If it's leaking from the float bowl screws, I suggest you replace the nylon washers with Fiber , just went through the same issue with the Holley dual feed on my Z28, now fixed
