Stick shift

Hello all,

I removed the gear shift **** and the reverse lock out T Handle so I could remove the center console. Now I can’t seem to get the T Handle go back down far enough to expose the threads in order to screw the **** back on. Is there a trick to this that I am missing?

Are you putting the spring below the tee handle or below the ****? it should go between the **** and the top of the tee handle and fit into the recess in bottom of the ball.

I am putting it between the t handle and ****. However; since I posted this, I figured it out; thank you.
