[C2] Wiper arms

Wiper arms
Would it be better to by reproduction 63-65 wiper arms, or look for an original/restored set? Anyone tried reproduction wiper arms? The car is very nice, but won't be NCRS judged.

Do you have any wipers on the car now?

If you’re not going to have it judged just use your originals or put a pair of the new repops on. I sincerely doubt that anyone that looks at your car could tell the difference

Actually, my car is an April 66 car so it should have brushed wiper arms which I will put on for more serious Corvette shows, but I like the look of the shiny ones for the rest of the time. Just wondering how the quality compares to originals or if there have been any problems with them.

I just replaced my wiper arms last week.
My car is a ‘67 and the original arms are brushed and have the adjusting screw. I found some originals on eBay for $500. I opted for the incorrect polished ones for $100 including shipping. My car is nice and appears mostly correct but it will never be judged and most people will never notice.
I did bag and store the originals.
Take care,
Steve
