Default Help with shipping

I am wanting to arrange purchase of a soft top from a member but have hit a bump in the road in that I need to get it from Dayton Ohio to Indianapolis.
Is there anyone going in that direction? I am willing to pay for time and fuel, or is there a company that can arrange pick up and delivery, which I imagine would involve some packaging

Are you talking about just the fabric or the frame/bows/fabric?

There are numerous companies that you can contract with to get it moved.

From looking at Google Maps, it is about a 2 hour drive one way from Dayton OH to Indianapolis IN. It may be less of a hassle to borrow a buddy's pick up truck and make the round trip yourself. That's if it is the complete soft top with frame and fabric already installed.

Yes. Just saw that. Thanks for the location highlight. I should have examined your Avatar a bit more closely. Thanks Bob

Is the person who has current possession of the frame able to take it to a shipper in Dayton? Are you shipping it to a individual in Indianapolis for transport to Australia?

There are multiple companies in the Dayton area that could handle the transaction. One of the cheapest would be to take it to what is known as a LTL (Less than Load) carrier at their terminal and have them take it to their terminal in the destination city. You could also call FedEx Ground at 1-800-463-3339 and inquire about options.
