[C2] Best “core” for rearend

If I were contemplating a future rearend rebuilt, and wasn’t worried about numbers or codes, what would be the best choice for a rearend core to consider…
I recall hearing 63-64 were weaker, etc.

using my phone the "my recent topics" tab goes missing and I too forget to check back on post. but using my lap top makes browsing a tad easier
