Default 1115091 coil value

Can someone help me establish the value of an early "091" coil that I have? I have tested it not only for resistance, but also in a 62 of mine. In short, works good. This would be the non buttress type of tower.

Thanks,
Tim

Saw a NOS 091 about 15 years ago at a swap meet and the dealer wanted $500.

I paid a tiny bit more than that for my first '57--with the coil.

Confirmed originals (embossed 091 12V is at bottom, etc) range from $500 to $750 depending on condition and confidence of working.

There are a few 091s out there that are very good knockoffs. They should go for much less but they are that good. It's hard to tell without destroying the paint work.

I believe the non-buttress configuration was used until ‘62 with the buttress being introduced in early ‘63.

Either one will be pricey.
I bought mine for my 63 FI 30 years ago and don't even remember how much I paid , but it wasn't more than 50 bucks .
