Yes. The first thing to check is the block casting number and casting date which can be found on the back of the block where the bellhousing onto trans mounts. The casting number can be found on the drivers side. Then on the passenger side on the front next to the water pump mounting in the stamp pad. There should be numbers and letters stamped on there. Post all you can find along with pictures.

Specifically, you need the numbers on the pad on the passenger's side of the engine at the front and the casting numbers and date on the rear flange where the bellhousing bolts on to help find what engine you have.
