C1-1957 corvette,.Motor starts and runs after a rewire of the solenoid. Now I have another problem; fuses all look good (not blown) But I now have NO LGHTS!! -Inteior, tail, head , park, or instrument?? What would cause that??
No voltage on the red wire to the headlight switch. Maybe red wire is disconnected, corroded, burned or headlight switch contact is bad. Start there. Anything else would require multiple issues.
I don't know if the headlight voltage passes through it or not, but check that very small fuse mounted on the rear of the headlight switch.
That's correct, the fuse is for the dash lights, you're problem will be in the source for the voltage for the headlight switch. As I said, the red wire to the headlight switch is not getting 12v to the light system. There is no fuse or circuit breaker on the red wire, it's 12v all the time the battery is connected. The breaker in the headlight switch will interrupt the headlamps (make them flash when there's an overload). All the things you are missing tells me there is no 12v getting to the headlight switch in the first place.
