[C2] Number help

Number help
What do these numbers mean, I was told it was orignally A 250 HP. When A frame off was done they changed heads and put A Eldbrock 2101 intake along with A Holly. Just trying to figure what I have.
FobIIRC on the block ahead of the right head.
3917291. GM28. D188. Under the valve cover, I do see what I believe is the double hump on the front of the head

f is flint the obII are to be numbers for a date. RC is the suffix code. 291 heads was used in 67 and 68 yours is April of 68

The 3917291 heads are from, either, a '68 302 or '68 327/350 cast on April 18, 1968.

nope the same casting was used for both 1.94 and 2.02 valves. your need to put an inspection camera in the spark plug hole and look
