Default clock question

I removed the clock from my '63 and sent it off to "Instrument Services" for a quartz replacement. They sent it back partially assembled with the crystal or plastic lense in a concave manner.??? I don't remember it being that way but it's been three months since I sent it to them. My question, is the lense supposed to be (from the Factory), convex or concave?

Called the company...they said the lens goes in with the curve down or concave.

All your car gauges’ glass should be shaped the same direction. I don’t know concave from convex. 65 66 67 center is curved away from you as you look at it. I’ve never owned a 63 or 64.

Curved inward is concave, outward is convex. All '63 to '67 lenses, including the clock, were concave.

Yep, what are the orientations for all the other gauges? (for '67 they're all concave)

You would have lots of reflective glare this way
Are your cluster gauges this way?

My question is are you going to send it back to be corrected or are you going to fix it yourself?

Personally I'd do it myself but that's just me.
