All the time. Clip one lead to the S terminal on the starter (typically a purple wire) and the other to the battery + terminal. No need to pull any wires. The ignition is not energized doing it this way.
I am getting to the point where i want to fire my engine up,all the dash wiring is not complete at the moment so i bought a remote start.
I had planned to wire mine one to the starter, one to the battery and run a wire from the battery to the + side of the coil would this test run the engine?
