I am a new 1967 Corvette owner. What is the correct body height? Ground to top of wheel well. Mine is 24 1/2" with 215 R70 tires Measuring body height 1967 Corvette
SnowChain - Welcome to the Corvette Forum. The way you're measuring for body height is the same way I do it, it's a simple way to measure. The correct way is found in either the AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual) or Service Manual and just looked but
no luck in finding where they spell that out. I can say that your 215/70x15s are pretty close in diameter to the 7.75x15s. Yours I believe come out to 26.9 inches and the 7.75s were a bit taller at 27". the variables would be if there's
been any change to springs front or rear...or wheels.
Do post up pics of your new 67, we do love pics.

I just went thru this whole thing about a year ago. In my opinion, you can use kinda whatever reference you want, but you need to be reasonably assured it will be consistent. So, for example, always check the tires' PSI before measuring. And, always measure after a drive so you know the suspension is settled. Personally, I found it simple and effective enough to just take a good side shot of the car parked on a flat surface and then use a photo editor to draw straight lines referencing the rocker mouldings. I found that the tops of the rocker mouldings are typically a consistent straight line. You can go to Bring A Trailer and find other midyears that "look right" to you in regard to their stance. Do the same with those, drawing the straight line on the top of the rocker moulding, and see where that line strikes the center of the wheel. I found that to be a good reference. And, you also want to pay attention to the side-to-side while you're at it. Here are my "final" pics to illustrate. By the way, I have coilovers which allow for ride height adjustment. If you have factory suspension, you're looking at a much more difficult time to adjust the ride height...
Mine have generally been about 26 1/4 in the front 26 1/2 in the back measured at those points with 205-75-15. double check your measurement, the car doesn’t look that low compared to the tires. The tire sidewall looks shorter on yours than mine with a 205 75. This one was 26 in the front 26 1/4 in the rear.

Measurement on my 65 is using 205/75R-15 tires on front and 215/70R-15 on rear, from ground to bottom of fender at center of wheel is 25.625 all around. I like the stance.
Pat - No problem. When you hit 'Reply', right above the open box for text you'll see the toolbar. Scroll over about halfway and just to the right of the 'paperclip', you'll see what looks to be
a picture frame with a pair of mountain tops in it. Click on it and then browse through your computer/phone/ipad albums for the pics you want to add and then hit upload. That's a bit oversimplified but I think it should work for you.
