Funny Fuel Pump
Friend bought shinny, silver AC Delco fuel pump for 61.
ebay picture looked too nice for old rebuilt pump.
After install and much cranking, no gas came up to carbs.
Was this some kind of China fuel pump?

Funny Fuel Pump
So 61 friend does not know how to work cars.
He bought NAPA fuel pump that is fixed and cannot clock. He did not understand, or accept what I explained.
Then he bought AC fuel pump, look alike number match.
Mechanic installed but after 1-can of starter fluid they found no gas coming up to carbs.
After talking to friends locally, not likely fuel pump is bad. More likely bad install.
After viewing replies here and talking with friends, I told 61 friend best to remove and see if anything was broken or indication installed wrong.
Friend does not understand or accept.
