I’m in the process of preparing my convertible for paint. I was able to remove the interior chrome trim around the windshield with no problem. Is there a trick to removing the exterior trim? I removed the screws and nuts but it won’t budge.
Did you get the ones on the window frame where the door shuts?
Also, there's one at the top in the inside...look into the hole of the window frame...when you remove the screw be careful...there's a special >>nut/spacer<<<...

If you're sure you have all the screws/bolts removed, it could be sealant holding the trim in place.
Grab it from the inside and roll it forward...
