Oh boy. You ask what pictures? A: All of them. But you may get exhausted doing so. A seasoned knowledgeable expert could spend four hours or less and tell you pretty much everything that can be divined about this car (what a project!) or you can chase hundreds of picture requests, many of which can be hard to communicate efficiently. The rear end is one example - checking for big block u-joint end caps says one thing but what about the absence of the rear sway bar? What about checking the axle code stamping as shown in post #19? Is it possible for a pro to see evidence of where a sway bar may have been, or is there a sway bar in the parts pile (and what does it look like)? Nice of you to help out the owner. Good luck, you're taking on a lot. If there is a Corvette club nearby, you might be able to enlist the help of a NCRS type judge - while some may disagree with their level of knowledge, at this point they know far more than you do (no derision intended).
Good people, I dragged the car out of the garage and pressure washed it and listed it. Now we will see what happens, if anything. Thank you to the good people here who offered advice and input on what this car was, challenges it has and my options for dealing with it. I respect your community and wish you all the best.

Don't take the first offer.... This car will generate a LOT of interest.... Give your ad a few weeks and let the market set the best price... Good luck, polite friend!

Where did you list it? Would love to see how she "cleaned up"...didn't see it here on the Forum "for sale" ads.
I see the auction ended already. Did it sell or are you going to be relisting it?
We received a fair offer on the car which hasn't materialized yet. It is supposed to take place this week as the purchaser is traveling from out of state. We are hopeful but if the deal falls through, then the auction will be reactivated.
If you want another individual looking at the car, give me a PM.
I'm in Northern California about 45 minutes east of Sacramento. Just outside of the town of Placerville.
I don't have an interest in the car for purchase but could/may offer some advice for you. I would not consider myself an expert, but rather a well-informed enthusiast.
I'm serious when I say I'm not interested as a buyer. I already have three Corvettes and am currently completing a '69 Z/28.
Yet, I would be more than happy to take a look and see what you have to assist in providing "pertinent" information to individuals with interest in purchasing the car.
Have you been able to look under the dash to view the bottom of the windshield surround? How about the "A" pillars? Areas where the door hinges to the bird cage? So many places to check for rust, one can easily overlook problem areas. How about where the body connects to the frame just in front of the rear wheels? A little inspection/access plate there. How about the frame kick-ups? Have you taken a floor jack and placed it up on jack stands? Rolled under the car with a creeper? Better yet, a lift? What's the fuel line look like? What's the angle of the line coming off the frame (near the motor)? Is the hood aftermarket, or a replacement with provisions for the support on both sides?
From the few pictures provided, 30k seems like good money. Whatever you do, do not take cashier's checks etc.... Cash, or direct deposit to your bank. Even with direct deposit, I would talk with your bank manager to ensure the direct deposit cannot be reversed.
