Transmission codes

My 62 FI has a trans that seems to have most numbers correct, however the tag with the code may not be. It’s very clearly “NN”. The NCRS book for 61-62s does not have that code listed. Any ideas?

From the 348-409 Website:

If it has the tag, it depends on year and make for the code.
For Chevy in 63 they were:

Chevrolet Passenger Car, 1000 Series
A-A 2.54/1.89/1.51/1.0
K-K 2.20/1.64/1.31/1.0
L-L "
M-M "
N-N 2.54/1.89/1.51/1.0
