The correct answer is that cars with auto trans could not have the N11 off road exhaust, but were definitely able to have N14 side exhaust. This is documented in Noland's Book on C2 Corvettes. Pages 432-433.
Reason for no N11 was that auto trans required 2 inch exhaust pipes for clearance, and regular and N11 Corvette exhaust were 2-1/2 inch.

Thanks, Larry, I learned something today. Retaining it might be an issue...
Thanks all for your comments. My dad went to see car. Couple of comments, looking for thoughts. The paint is okay, maybe a 6, can see sanding marks from last paint job. Bonding strips look original, doesn’t look like car was ever in an serious accident.
No rust where trailing arms connect to frame other than surface rust.
Sounds like you or family are in the metro D, hidden details. Its all in what You Want, a two speed automatic? A low quality repaint - using your own words. Undercoating, here in the mid west traps moister, its the worst thing you can put on a frame. How fresh is it?
Depends on what you are looking for, everyone has told you dealers are there for One Thing, mak money on the car with No Value Add. That means, either someone desperate to get the car comes by or it will be 15k cheaper after it does not sell and the owner takes it back.

I have a 67 Auto with AC 300 HP with factory side exhaust Have factory tank sticker.
