Default Clutch return spring

How do you install the clutch return spring? It’s way too stiff for me to figure.

I hung mine on the wall, you really don't need it. Do a search.

What type of clutch do have? It helps having two people one pushing down the clutch and the other using a crescent wrench on the cross shaft bracket towards the firewall. Push the handle towards the nose of the corvette and put the shoulder bolt on. Or leave it on the wall if you have a diaphragm style clutch. Now, I do have a large light spring off of a screen door.
