[C1] Door gap

Door gap

this is the front top door edge. It looks wide but I don’t have any reference. I’m thinkin it has been ground out. Should be closer to windshield base?

Looks wide. Install the windshield and door posts and see how they look. Ideally, the outer surface of each are about flush. Is the door flush with the rest of the body?

the gap at latch side is also wide. Bottom is good.

Passengers side door gap

Drivers side door gap

The gaps at the front top (at least on the early cars) is quite wide. These pics are of my early ‘56 (#332). The car had paint approx 30 years ago however, hasn’t been restored to the point where poor fitting panels and gaps were corrected.
