engine code

My 65 has the following number: V0115 ME. Anyone know what ME code is for?

ME is not listed in the Lime Book nor the Black Book as a suffix for a 1965 Corvette engine.

According to the Lime Book, if it's a small block, it is a 210HP, 2 barrel carb, 327 from a 67 or 68 Camaro. If it's a big block it's a ZL1 from a Corvette which would be quite the find.

the V0115 is Flint and Jan 15 So it's a SB

Yep... ME is the suffix code for the Engine in my '68 Camaro.
