Default Wheel question

I am going to take the original wheels and hub caps off and save them, but I am looking at some new wheels to replace them with. I tried doing a search throughout the forum but I didn't find anything that actually says my thought process is correct.
I am keeping the same size wheel and tire combo(15x5) but I am looking at using Raceline Wheels Allied Wheel 62 Series Rallye Wheel. It should match the bolt pattern and everything. But what i noticed is that is has +6 offset. From what i know my 62 Stock should be around +11. Will this change negatively effect drivability? Am I over thinking this?

What are they reporting offset in, mm?? If so that is less than 1/4” difference so I would not think that should cause you any issues in the same rim width.

Are you planning to use the original style full wheel covers? If so, the wheels will need to have the 4 nubs (shown below) to retain the full wheel covers.

If you plan to use some kind of dog dish caps, then the center of the wheel will have to have the nubs to retain the small caps.

I am saving the original wheels with the nubs and the original hub caps. I want to be able to drive her more and don't want to run the risk of loosing hubs

If you're leaning towards finding a similar size wheel to the originals, which were 5.5 inches wide from 63-66, a lot of owners, myself included, went to the 67 Rally Wheel dimensions of 15x6".
With the right offset, plenty of clearance all around and if you want a slightly bigger wheel, there are quite a few members who are running 7" wide rims with the right offset to clear things
like the trailing arm outside parking brake brackets.

Here's an example of the kind of stupidity you can get using AI generated responses for Google.

that's why I figured i would ask the question. Google was pointless and what's on the forums here isnt exactly a 1 to 1 answer.
