I have a an early 66 coupe . Everything matches except for the carb and alternator. I want to find a correct dated carb and alternator.
Trim tag A30
F090IHE
Serial # 100030
Carb...R3367A ...What would be a correct carb dated? Something like a 563-582 ????
Alternator...1100693 What would be a correct alternator dated? 5H21 ??????
Welcome to the forum. It looks like your car was made on Sept. 2, 1965. https://www.c2registry.org/index.php
The alternator on R66, made Dec. 13, 1965 has a 5M2 (1965/Dec 02) date code. This gives you an idea, however I don't know the acceptable range per NCRS. Some of the smarter guys will chime in.
The 3367 carburetor is date coded 5A4 (1965/Nov/4 week). However, once again I am not a smart Corvette Guy so they will tune in with a range.
You are going to be blasted of pictures of your car no matter what condition it is in. We like eye candy.
Welcome again,
Ron
Yes. Thank you for responding to my post.I am trying to find the accepable range for both the alternator and carb.
Hopefully more members will chime in.

Welcome to the forums! As Ron (R66) says, you're going to get lots of responses wanting to pics of your car - we love pics! Most of the crew here are respectful and very helpful, and we like all expressions of C1s and C2s, from trailer queens, to restomods, to old beaters and daily drivers, to barn finds being rebuilt. The folks here have saved me tons of aggravation, frustration, and money. As far as your question, IIRC, NCRS typically gives full credit for anything dated within 6 months of your car's build date (which happens to be my FIL's 38th birthday - and he's 97 now). So in theory at least you could have an alternator and carb dated as early as March 3rd, 1965, assuming it's the correct part number. While most will try to find something closer to their car's build date, just make sure the dates are not AFTER you engine's build date. Good luck, and again, welcome!
