Im new to the forum and have a quesion. I owned a 63 splitwindow vette back in the 70s. It was all origianal white with dark blue interior, automatic 327 300 hp. bought it from Stoudts Auto in Reading, Pa. the vin# was 30837S115545. would like to know where the car is today. Any ifo would be greatly appreciated.
Terry - Welcome to the Corvette Forum. You're a step ahead by having the VIN, most folks that owned a Vette that long ago don't typically still have that info.
I just looked at the C2Registry.org site, which is voluntary by the way, nothing official about it, and that VIN does not show up so no one has listed it on there.
Keeping in mind that their listings for midyears only account for roughly 6% of the total produced for those model years.
Couple months ago, for the helluvit, I googled my Dad's old 65 Coupe (Nassau Blue, NOM, PG Trans, A/C) that we sold back around 2002 to a dealer back East.
Surprisingly, it popped up as having been sold at the Harrisburg Mecum Auction. I reached out to Mecum who passed my email to buyer and I sent him some pics we had of it
back when I and my Dad bought it in the early 90s and worked on it as a Father/Son project.
Besides the usual recommendation like using Google to see if it pops up, maybe try to reach out to a Corvette Club in the area where you sold it and someone might remember it.
Long shot to be sure.
Good luck.

Welcome. The NCRS Driveline has a classified section that has, on occasion, connected present and past owners of cars. It's up to you if you want to pursue. Jerry

No leads on your '63... but I bought my '65 from Stoudt's in '77! It was a pretty cool place with their small lot full of Corvettes.
