Morning....Looking for any info pertaining to a car rental. I am going on vacation and was thinking of renting a Corvette to drive while I was there, however none of the regular rental agencies have a Corvette in their inventory. I was able to locate an individual that rents his 2019 Corvette through a listing called TURO. Has anyone used this service and if so comments? I am leery of giving out my name, address and drivers licence # along with my credit card if it is not reputable.

Hertz use to rent Corvettes in popular resort areas, but I think they stopped when the C8 came out. While the big national rental agencies may not rent Corvettes, many cities (especially in tourist areas) have local companies that specialize in short term rentals of Corvettes and exotic cars.

I have not been able to find any local outlet that handles Corvettes or muscle cars. Best I have been able to locate are 6 cyl mustangs and Camaros.

Thanks for all the info, but since I am going to the small island of Kauai in Hawaii the rental car selection is quite limited. I may try the TURO route.
If I do use TURO I will let you know how it works out.
