Default Windshield - question for restorers......

I need to replace my dimpled windshield molding/trim - someone said try to find NOS, or good used - my question is: I see re-pro moldings - "Topflight" and other vendors - do these re-pro moldings go one like factory? Do they "easily"
mount onto frame and rubber seal? OR - are they a fight, and crappy product that you have to pound on?

i have a 50-50 mix of original and new aftermarket. after polishing them out as best as I could, they look and fit the same. I think it all depends on the molding clips. some are exact and others are 'universal'. do your research from that standpoint. other may chime in here..
also, you may have to wait months to get your aftermarket ones.

Some aftermarket parts may work out nicely. But for me personally, I will restore and/or always replace with original whenever possible. Even if it costs me more, I will always attempt to restore original parts. I just seem to have better luck with originals.

good advice, but NOS windshield molding, if you can find it, is probably crazy expensive...........

Coupe or convertible? Originals will always fit better.

Can't your originals have the dents removed and polished out
