66 Steering Column Question
All,
I've done digging into the archives and was hoping to get some clarification on the installation of my standard '66 column. First, the new upper bearing appears to be pre-lubed. Do I need to add any additional grease prior to install? I wouldn't think so, but want to check. Also, what is the best way to measure the lower spring clamp "axial movement of .010-.030 of the steering clamp" to ensure that's done correctly?
