Default 1957 deck latch pics?
Anyone have a couple pics of where a 57 latches onto glovebox? Just bought a 57 and all that is missing.

Here’s some photos of the glove box area and the convertible top cover latch on my ‘56. I’m guessing that your ‘57 is the same….

The 1956/57 uses a unique deck lid latch, very different from the 58-62. Here's a AIm Sec E Sheet 4 showing what you need. These may be only available used as I don't believe repros exist.



'57 view of the latch.The bracket/switch assembly is for the power top only.
