Immediately noticed that. Looks like a stout unit if size is any indication. He’s got plenty of rear tire clearance for squat.

It’s probably now an all original matching numbers no hit body with all seams intact. Soon to be on BAT or Barrett Jackson.

Absolutely. Tom McEwen was a legend the the world of drag racing. I was fortunate to be able to see him race several times back in the "60's.

Some of the best "grudge matches" were between Tom "The Mongoose" McEwen and Don "The Snake" Prudhomme.

Speaking of Tom 'The Mongoo$e' McEwen....... his Corvette was my favorite Funny Car when I was a kid, and a local artist's rendering of it, signed by Tom, hangs on my wall.....

So wild deal on this car. Sent the link to a buddy-a local guy here that actually had a hair salon 3 doors down from my old vet office had the car and raced it here in Houston! Here is a picture of it at Houston International! Still had the injected Hemi! But obviously moved the engine back in the frame.

Kinda looks like a precursor to a Funny Car.......

On another note, this is probably the first post I have seen on this Forum, other than possibly a Friday Funny, that has included the words hair salon......
